Jurgen Maelfeyt, TOY, Art Paper Editions, 2024
Desire by suggestion: images rephotographed from 1970s and 80s erotica, with the explicit parts left out.
Maelfeyt, who also founded Art Paper Editions, closes his found erotica trilogy after FURS and WET. Bodies on loungers, hands with wine glasses, feet in stilettos. The driving question: how explicit not to be.
48 pages, linen hardcover, edition of 750.
