Newsletter

We only send our newsletter if you have said yes. At checkout and when you sign in, the box is not ticked in advance. In the shop, the e-mail receipt offers the same choice.

Every letter has an unsubscribe link. You can also write to us. We send the newsletter with Shopify Email.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored in your browser. Our web shop shows a cookie banner on your first visit.

Cookies that the shop needs to work are always set. Examples are the basket, checkout and your cookie choice. Other cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page in the shop. You can also delete cookies in your browser.

Our website simonebook.services sets no statistics or marketing cookies. The press page remembers one display choice in your browser; that is not tracking.

Who receives your data

These companies process data for us, under a data processing agreement:

  • Shopify (Shopify International Ltd., Ireland): the web shop, checkout, customer accounts, Shopify Payments and Shopify Email.
  • Shipmondo: shipping labels.
  • Google Ireland Ltd.: Google Analytics, only with your consent.
  • Vercel Inc.: hosting of simonebook.services.
  • Web3Forms: passes messages from the forms on simonebook.services to our inbox.
  • Google Ireland Ltd.: Google Workspace, our e-mail and documents.
  • Dinero (Visma Dinero ApS, Denmark): our accounting.

These companies receive data and use it as their own controllers:

  • Our accountant and public authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your data.

Shopify also uses some data for its own purposes, as its own controller. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

Transfers outside the EU

Some of these companies, or their suppliers, process data outside the EU and EEA, for example in Canada and the United States. Canada has an EU adequacy decision. For the United States, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the company is certified, or on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for more information.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • see the data we hold about you;
  • have wrong data corrected;

  • have processing restricted;
  • receive your data in a common format (data portability);
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • object to direct marketing at any time;
  • withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect what happened before.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, write to us first. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, datatilsynet.dk.

Security

The shop and checkout use encrypted connections. Only people who need the data for their work have access to it.

Children

The web shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about children.
