Who we are

These terms
These terms apply to purchases in our web shop at shop.simonebook.services. This includes orders you collect in the shop. The terms in force on the day you order apply to that order.
The web shop is for consumers. If you buy for a business, write to us first.
What we sell
- New books.
- Second-hand and rare books. Each has a condition stated on its product page, for example "Very Good".
- Magazines and periodicals, new and back issues.
- Zines.
- Art prints. Some are sold on consignment for the artist. We sell them in our own name. We are your seller, and we handle returns and complaints.
- Objects.
- Gift cards, sent by e-mail.
Descriptions and photographs
We describe and photograph each item with care. Colours on screen can differ from the object.
A second-hand or rare item is sold as the copy described and shown. Its age and stated condition are part of the description.
Your order
When you place an order, you receive an order confirmation by e-mail. The contract is made when we send that e-mail.
Many of our books exist in one copy. The same copy may be for sale in the shop. If it is sold before we can reserve it for you, we write to you, cancel that item and refund it in full.
Prices
Prices are in Danish kroner (DKK). They include 25% Danish VAT (moms). Some second-hand and rare items are sold under the Danish margin scheme for second-hand goods (brugtmomsordningen). The price you see is the price you pay, plus any delivery charge.
If a price is clearly wrong, for example because of a typing error, and you could reasonably see that, we may cancel the order. We then refund you in full.
Payment
You can pay by card, MobilePay, Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are handled by Shopify Payments and the provider you choose. We do not see or store your full card number.
We charge the amount when you place your order. If we cannot send or hand over an item, we refund it in full.
If you pay with Klarna or PayPal, their own terms also apply to the payment.
Delivery and pick-up
We deliver in Denmark, to a parcel shop or your address, and to the other countries listed in our shipping policy. You can also collect in the shop. Prices and times are in our shipping policy.
The goods are your responsibility from the moment you, or someone you have named, receive them.
Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Newspapers, periodicals and magazines are exempt, except subscriptions. The full rules and the standard withdrawal form are in our refund policy.
Faulty goods
The Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven) applies. You can complain about a fault for 2 years from delivery. A complaint within 2 months of discovering the fault is always in time.
Second-hand and rare items are judged against their age and the condition stated when you bought them. Described wear, and wear normal for the stated condition, is not a fault.

Gift cards
A gift card is sent by e-mail. It can be used in the web shop and in the shop at Vester Voldgade 106.
A gift card has no expiry date. It cannot be exchanged for cash. Keep the code safe. Anyone with the code can use it.

We only send our newsletter if you have said yes to it. You can unsubscribe with the link in every letter. See our privacy policy.
Personal data
We process your personal data as described in our privacy policy.
Complaints and disputes
If you are not satisfied, write to info@simonebooks.dk. We will try to find a solution with you.

Danish law applies. This does not remove any rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
