Sachiko Morita — Time in Air, Time in Paper

Morita brushes photosensitive emulsion onto Fabriano watercolour paper, then prints 35mm negatives onto the sheet with an enlarger, so every image carries the tooth of the paper and the marks of the hand. Fifty-one works made across twenty years are gathered here, nearer to drawing than to conventional darkroom practice. Clothbound hardcover, 72 pages, first edition of 1000 copies.
