Francesca Gavin — Rough Version, The NTS Interviews, 2016–2021

The first volume of interviews from Rough Version, Francesca Gavin's monthly programme on the online station NTS Radio, covering the show's first five years, 2016 to 2021.

Gavin, a writer and curator, devised and presents the show, in which contemporary artists talk about the music they make and the sounds that feed their work. Music is the way in: each conversation moves from listening to the artist's own practice, to what drives them and who they are.

The conversations are frank and open. Among the artists are Wolfgang Tillmans, Jeremy Deller, Katharina Grosse, Mark Leckey, Philippe Parreno, Otobong Nkanga, Martine Syms, Tony Cokes, Liam Gillick, Trevor Paglen and Tai Shani.
