Bob Nickas — Corrected Proofs: Previously Unpublished, Uncollected, Unwanted
About
Bob Nickas, Corrected Proofs: Previously Unpublished, Uncollected, Unwanted, At Last Books, 2023
Revenge publishing: the texts editors killed, collected at last.
Commissioned but never printed essays, uncollected pieces and new writing from the New York critic and curator. Subjects run from Cady Noland, Lee Lozano and Felix Gonzalez-Torres to Duchamp, Warhol, and, less expectedly, John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald. Foreword by Randy Kennedy.
360 pages, issued with four different artist covers.
