Popeye — Issue 951

The July 2026 issue of Popeye, made for the magazine's fiftieth anniversary under the title Whole City Boy Catalog.

Popeye was founded in 1976, and Magazine House describes it as a fashion and culture magazine for city boys. For this anniversary number the editors set out everything they take a city boy to be, in three parts. The fashion section covers the clothes worn nearly all the time, dressing as a grown man rather than a boy, and clothes for sport, the seasons and travel. The lifestyle section takes in things to watch, listen to and read, having a go at doing things oneself, and how a city boy goes about things. The town guide opens with good food, then turns to walking every corner of a town and looking back at its history, and closes with a hundred things to do abroad.

Almost all of the regular columns were paused so the whole issue could be given to the anniversary theme.
