The April 2026 issue of Popeye, Magazine House's fashion and culture magazine for city boys, given over to a spring guide to dressing and shopping in Tokyo.

Ten young Tokyo men open the feature, each styled in clothes for spring and introduced through what they are into at the moment and the part of town they like best. The shop guide is arranged by district: the east of the city, the streets around Shibuya, Harajuku and Omotesando, Setagaya, and other areas. Buyers from Dover Street Market Ginza, Maidens Shop and Domicile Tokyo explain how they choose what to stock, and seven Japanese labels are introduced through interviews with their designers.

Also inside are hair snaps from six Tokyo salons and a spring catalogue of clothes, shoes and accessories narrowed to thirteen themes. In a separate piece, Susumu Takei, founder of Face Records, the editor Tetsuya Suzuki and Hiroshi Fujiwara, who are writing a book on Shibuya's past told through its record shops, trace the area's fashion history from post-war Washington Heights to the launch of Popeye in 1976.
