Richard Kern, Polaroids, Art Paper Editions, 2023
More than 200 color Polaroids from 35 years of Kern's shoots.
Kern came up through New York's Cinema of Transgression and has spent decades photographing the space between sitter, photographer and audience. The Polaroids are the working layer of that archive: test frames, moments before and after the picture. The first edition of 1,000 sold out.
