About
The second title in Monogram, a series from Art Paper Editions, given to Liv Liberg's photographs of her best friend Willemijn.
The pictures come from a personal archive that Liberg continues to add to. Willemijn appears as friend and as model, with Liberg behind the camera, and the images play with clothes, glances, poses and atmosphere. The relationship between the two girls is left open, with no settled idea of where it is heading. Jurgen Maelfeyt designed and edited the issue.
Liberg is a Dutch photographer, born in 1992, who works with dressing up, staged poses and portraiture. Her earlier book with the same publisher, Sister Sister (2021), followed her younger sister Britt for fifteen years, starting when Liberg was ten.
