Nick Haymes — Chronograph

A family album kept for twenty-five years, with the hard moments left in.

From 2001 to 2026, Haymes photographed his own household in Los Angeles and New York: Lina, his partner, and their children, Philipp and Lawrence. Close to a thousand pictures take in rooms at home, rough play, affection and friction, as the children grow up and relationships change. Some photographs catch things as they happened, others were set up in advance, and the book mixes the two.
