The Plant — Issue 25
About
The Spring/Summer 2026 issue of The Plant, the English-language magazine from Barcelona that has looked closely at ordinary plants since 2010.
Issue 25 takes the arrival of cherry blossom as its starting point, with the feeling of a season turning, and flowers fill much of it. Federico Torra photographs flowers coming out under moody skies just after winter has ended, Peter Jordanov records the flowers of Tuscany alongside a botanical glossary, and Rahel Kesselring, botanical curator at the Fondation Beyeler, leads a walk through its grounds.
It was issued with six covers: Symphony in Bloom by Takashi Homma, Right After the Winter by Federico Torra, Amulets by Rita Puig-Serra, A Living Painting by Peter Jordanov, Counting Daisies by Blommers and Schumm, and Tablescape by Ginny Sims. Among the many other contributors are Danielle van Camp, Adrianna Glaviano, Francesca Allen, Dan Thawley, Chus Martínez and Scheltens & Abbenes. Cristina Merino is editor-in-chief, with creative direction by Isabel Merino and Carol Montpart.
The Plant, Spring/Summer 2026. 288 pages, 23 x 30 cm.
