Marfa Journal — Issue 25
About
The twenty-fifth issue of Marfa, the London biannual on fashion and art, built largely around actors in conversation with one another.
Regina Hall and Chloë Sevigny, who acted together in The Five-Star Weekend, catch up; Rashida Jones talks with Natalie Portman, a friend of many years; Renate Reinsve talks with Stacy Martin; and Eva Victor talks with Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas of Sentimental Value. Away from the actors, the issue goes through the Arizona archive of the erotic photographer Eric Kroll, follows Natalia Vodianova through a fashion story in Paris, meets the artist Kris Krystal in London and visits the painter France-Lise McGurn in her Glasgow studio.
The novelist Saou Ichikawa talks with Tiffany Lee about her book Hunchback, and Faizan Zaki, winner of the 2025 Spelling Bee, speaks with Charlotte Bendel. Contributors include John Waters. Alexandra Gordienko is editor-in-chief and creative director, with Julia Monsell as art director.
