Cristina Stölhe — 2018 Andorra, United Kingdom, Spain & 2 more

A large poster that sets out 902 photographs Cristina Stölhe took during 2018 in a single grid.

Terranova had published Stölhe's first book, Random Pictures Book, in 2018, and the poster carries on its interest in pictures made with a phone. The photographs are laid out the way they appear on her iPhone screen, then enlarged to a sheet more than a metre and a half wide. From a distance the small squares merge into one abstract picture of the year. Up close, each photograph can be looked at on its own.

Designed by Affaire and printed in an edition of 500 copies.

Terranova, 2020. Poster, 156 x 116 cm.
