Luncheon — Issue 20
About
Issue 20 of Luncheon, the London biannual of art, fashion and food, dated Autumn-Winter 2025-26 and marking the magazine's tenth anniversary.
Frances von Hofmannsthal and Thomas Persson founded Luncheon in 2015 around conversations held over lunch, and each issue is put together like a menu. This one comes with three covers: a work in acrylic and ink on paper by Cary Kwok, a work by Ayham Hassan, and Viktoria Wirs in a portrait by Elizaveta Porodina, styled by Ellie Grace Cumming on a set built by Gary Card.
Inside, Paolo Roversi photographs the Comme des Garçons autumn-winter collection, Paul Kooiker marks twenty years of Roksanda, Rollo Jackson makes portraits of Danny Brown, and Rory Mullen contributes the series My Grandad's Shed. Graduates of the Central Saint Martins Fashion BA, class of 2025, have a feature of their own, and Donal Fallon writes an essay on the fight for a pint that brings in Lee Miller and Elizabeth Taylor. Other contributors include Hilton Als, Jack Davison, Rafael Pavarotti, Siân Davey and Jesse Glazzard.
